Act-Ed Productions www.act-ed.co.uk have just produced a new film that demystifies Synthetic Phonics for teachers. We have teamed up with one of the leading experts within this field, Debbie Hepplewhite, to bring you a film that will clear up any confusion regarding this subject.

Debbie Hepplewhite gives a detailed breakdown of synthetic phonics, the alphabetic code (simple and complex) how to blend letter sounds, phonemic awareness, and how to teach synthetic phonics in the classroom.

We were also given permission to film a 'Jolly Phonics' training session and here you can clearly see how to implement that particular system into your own teaching methods.
